Eventia Awards 2011
You have 50MB in total for each online entry you upload. Please ensure that your entry does not exceed 50MB as you will not be able to upload it successfully. If you have live footage you would like to include in your submission then please host the movie on a web page and include a link to the movie in your written submission.
The word limit for your written submission is 1500, for each 100 words that exceed the 1,500 word maximum, five marks will be deducted by the judges (this does not include text within additional support material). Excellence in the conception, planning and management of events can be defined through a mix of creativity and expertise. Provision of the following key information will enable the judges to reach a fair evaluation of your submission:
All projects entered for the Eventia Awards must have taken place between 1 July 2010 – 30 June 2011 .
Please note you may only upload a total of 50MB. After you have uploaded your 1500 word submission you may then upload images to illustrate your project, min 300dpi. Images may be used in the Awards supplement and the AV presentation should your entry reach the shortlist. Please make clear any special instructions that will help the judges access internet sites you may have provided.
Supporting material should be submitted to be received by Friday 26 August. Please ensure all supporting material is made to the attention of Tracy Johnson and posted to: Eventia, 5 Floor Galbraith House, 141 Great Charles Street, Birmingham B3 3LG.
Entries may be withdrawn before 26 August 2011, but no entry fees are refundable. Entries/support material will not be returned, but collection may be arranged by applying to the event manager at the time of entry. Please note that entries for which collection has not been arranged will be securely disposed of 10 working days after the Awards ceremony.
