Aileen Reuter

Aileen Reuter - Director, Marketing. Responsible for Corporate Marketing, Product Strategy & Management and Creative at Maritz Europa. I joined Maritz in August 1995 and have held a variety of different client-facing roles, including Account Group Director selling the full range of Maritz performance improvement services. Whilst in sales I focused on the IT channel. However prior to Maritz I spent 10 years in marketing within the automotive and petroleum sectors, including running my own marketing services company.

I am passionate about Corporate Social Responsibility and believe we have an opportunity to support our clients in their own CSR efforts by offering them a mechanism to fund reforestation and education programmes that have long-term positive impact. In addition as agencies and partners I feel we should undertake Carbon Audits on our own businesses that will help reduce emissions. Working with Eventia’s selected partner, I will endeavour to make understanding how we can reduce emissions in our event provision and our business operations as a whole easier for members to engage with. Having a strong CSR programme is not a task that should be underestimated and by being elected to the Board I feel I can help the association on the journey to this goal by using my marketing, communication, planning and organisational skills.
