Nigel Cooper is the Divisional Managing Director for the Travel & Events Division within Motivcom plc. This includes leading the P&MM events businesses, responsibility for the group's marketing activity and Nigel is also Managing Director of subsidiary Archer Young.
A graduate in politics, Nigel joined the incentives industry in 1990 spending 10 years with a subsidiary of Bank of Scotland where he went on to become Deputy MD and a Director in the Business Banking Division. Nigel joined the board of P&MM in January 2000 and was instrumental in developing the business to mount the secondary MBO in 2003 and the AIM flotation in 2004.
He has a strong commercial approach and provides a healthy focus for solutions that deliver against business objectives at all levels. Since joining P&MM he and his team have been responsible for securing many high quality clients.
Nigel is regarded as an industry authority on the subject of developing, implementing and directing many large scale events and travel programmes. He makes regular contributions to industry press comment and speaks at leading industry conferences and seminars. From 2005 to 2007 Nigel was the Chairman of the events industry association, Eventia.
