Nigel Cooper
Executive Director, P&MM Group PLC
Nigel Cooper completed a degree in political studies in 1984. He joined the incentives industry in 1990 moving to the P&MM Group in January 2000. He is responsible for the group's sales and marketing activities and the travel and event operations division.
Since joining the P&MM group Nigel and his team have been responsible for securing many high quality blue chip clients, and he has been instrumental in developing the business to achieve record turnover and profits in 2003 and 2004. His commercial background was invaluable in the AIM flotation of P&MM Group PLC in 2004.
Nigel is a main board director of P&MM Group PLC, Managing Director of P&MM Travel and group company Archer Young. He has a major role in leading the group's acquisition strategy.
In 2004 Nigel was elected to the board of Eventia’s forerunner, the Incentive Travel & Meetings Association, and in August of 2005 became Chairman.
He led the Board in achieving the successful fusion of two complementary trade associations: the ITMA and the Corporate Events Association, to form Eventia, and has remained Chairman of the new body.
