What is Sustainability Forum?
 

A free event run together with Visit London. Learn about best practice in creating sustainable events at our education forum.  The forum will address and discuss key issues, identify practical tools to implement and give guidance for successful planning, delivery and measurement of sustainable events. 
 

Outline Programme

8.45am - registration and breakfast

9.25am - Welcome and Introduction by Visit London & Eventia - handover to facilitator

9.30am - Charles Secrett, Visit London - overview of the actions and practices that have been put in place to make London a sustainable destination including the issues around the Olympics and how they will be implementing the standard

10.15am - Anne Hayes, British Standards to present BS8901 and take delegates through all the considerations of each step of each phase and explain how the standard works

11.00am - coffee break

11.15am - Hugo Kimber, Carbon Consultancy to talk though the key issues that suppliers need to think about when reducing their impact and walk delegates through the CSR pags and toolkit on the Eventia website

11.50am - Peter Ducker, Hotel Carbon Index

12.05am - Panel Session of all the above speakers plus Eventia spokesperson

12.50pm - finish and wrap up by Eventia/Visit London
