VAT Rule Changes - a TOMS update - Manchester Seminar

The Studio, Manchester

A workshop seminar for Event Management Companies

What’s it All About?

January 2010 ushered in changes to the VAT regime that significantly affected event management companies.  This seminar, to be held on 10 May in Manchester, will be led by VAT specialist David Bennett of Saffery Champness Chartered Accountants.  David will consider the practical consequences of these recent changes and what event management companies can do to improve their position.

Participants can expect:

  • to understand the impact on events companies of the changes to the TOMS rules from 1 January 2010
  • what are the changes to the place of supply rules and how do they affect events companies?
  • what is likely to happen next?
  • how the worst problems associated with the changes might be avoided

Make the most of your attendance:

To make the seminar as relevant to you as possible, we are inviting those attending to submit details in advance of any questions or points you would like to be covered.  That way we can ensure that the issues raised are covered during the presentation.  You can either submit your questions at the time of booking or email philippa.smith@eventia.org.uk
