Experience, location and facilities are just three reasons why Brighton is hard to beat as a meetings and conference destination. There are many more including a choice of over 400 restaurants, world famous shopping districts such as The Lanes, a national reputation for the range and quality of evening entertainment and an outstanding programme of arts, culture and special events,

Our main venues range from the purpose built 4,500-delegate Brighton Centre to the Royal Pavilion Estate, the heart of the city’s Regency heritage. The Hilton Brighton Metropole Hotel has its own extensive meetings facilities including 29 meeting rooms and 8000m² of exhibition space. The ve-star De Vere Grand accommodates many of our high prole clients in 200 quality bedrooms and we have a further 12 large seafront hotels that are rated 3 star and above and can accommodate all types and sizes of events, as well as a good range of boutique and guest house accommodation.  As a university city, conference on campus is a denite option at the Universities of Brighton and Sussex.

Location is a big plus for national and international events. Situated on England’s south coast, the city is an hour by train from London Victoria and London Bridge main line stations, half an hour by rail or road from Gatwick International Airport and is connected to the UK motorway network via the M/A23 that comes right to the edge of the city. Once in the city getting around is easy. The compact nature of the city means that over half the accommodation is just 10 minutes walk from the Brighton Centre and all the venues, hotels, restaurants and attractions are a short stroll from each other.

Both the VisitBrighton team and the city has extensive experience of hosting events. VisitBrighton’s convention bureau staff provide a range of services for meetings planners, conference organisers and agents, from venue nding to help with bidding, from familiarisation visits to a free accommodation booking service for delegates. Our aim  is to nd a unique solution for each of our clients to ensure the success of their events.
