Over the next two years the British Olympic Association (BOA) and Team GB will plan, execute and celebrate a once in a generation experience – managing the country’s finest athletes at a Home Games, and capture the nation’s excitement and support.  Since before Beijing 2008, the team at the BOA has been working relentlessly towards the London 2012 Olympic Games.  As we get closer and closer to the opening ceremony, Team GB will become more prevalent in the market and there will be a growing levels of energy and excitement associated with this Brand and of course the athletes associated with it.

We are looking for a senior event and hospitality strategist/deliverer who can develop a wide and complex range of events for both internal and external audiences. These range from media events, through sponsor brand activations, corporate hospitality, VVIP hospitality through to fundraising galas and balls. They need to demonstrate the BOA’s vision “Better Never Stops” and apply this to all events.  The post-holder must be able to juggle a very heavy workload, understand the various differing needs of each stakeholder, be used to working with VVIPs and senior management, be unflappable and have a proven track record in delivering slick and successful events to the highest standard.
