Head of UK Event Operations - ATP Event Experts

My career in the Events Industry spans close to 20 years.  I joined ATP Event Experts in 2009 and my role involves the development and growth of the ATP Event Experts business in the UK.  This is something  I am relishing and with 2012 in sight  and our Olympic and sporting  pedigree the next  18 months promises to be filled with much excitement.

Before  joining ATP Event Experts  I was Board Director for 3 years at The Dobson White Partnership,  a n exciting live events and communications agency.  Prior to that I spent  7 happy year at The Grass Roots Group as Senior Account Manager and then Head of Events . Going back further still I was  Senior Account Manager Automotive at  BI Worldwide  (then The Marketing Organisation)  and in the dim and distant past spent 3 years running the travel and events office at Mercedes Benz UK .

I was lucky enough to be on the Board of the ITMA  in 2004 and 2005 during the final '‘wilderness’ years and  am very proud to have been part of the team that took the ITMA  and re-launched it as Eventia.  It is phenomenal  how the Association has gone from strength to strength subsequently.  Reinvention and a constant striving and pushing of the boundaries are what took us forward then.   These attributes are as true today as they ever were, keeping it fresh counts!

Some 6 years after Eventias inception I am as committed as I ever was to ensuring that the Association reflects the needs of its members.  I am a little older, I hope wiser, a few more grey hairs but I still love, and am in love,  with what we represent in the Events sector.  It’s a truly exciting industry to be part of and I passionately wish to contribute further to the future success of Eventia and its members.
