The Villa Marina re-opened in April 2004 following a £13.3 million redevelopment scheme. The main conference hall will seat 1,400, in addition there are two further multi-purpose function rooms, the Promenade Suite and the Colonnade Suite, and a 154 seat cinema which can also be used during the day as a conference venue.

Over the last few years the Island has developed as a respected nancial, banking and business centre.
