VAT rule changes imminent - A workshop seminar for Event Management Companies

January 2010 will usher in changes to the VAT regime that will significantly affect event management companies.  Eventia, together with Saffery Champness Chartered Accountants, are pleased to offer this workshop-style seminar examining the implications of these changes.

The seminar, to be held on 28 September in Canary Wharf, London, will be led by VAT specialist David Bennett of Saffery Champness Chartered Accountants and Jeremy Wilson, Finance Director of World Events Ltd.  David will consider the practical consequences of the imminent changes and what event management companies can do to improve their position whilst Jeremy will offer a company perspective on what the rule changes will mean from a practical commercial level. 

Participants can expect:

• an explanation of the relevant VAT rules - what they say now and what they will say in the very near future
• practical detail of what will happen as a result of the change
• case studies and opportunities to participate in a hands-on workshop format
